An old project in the style of a children’s book. Something a little different for today.
I must apologize for the difficult-to-read text. It’s my biggest regret for this project. Maybe I’ll do it all over again someday.

I created an author avatar as a means of representing myself without actually having to draw my ugly mug. I went through a couple of potential ideas, and settled on the current hapless design with the tulip sprouting out the head. Originally the tulip was triangular antennae, which a friend informed me looked “unnecessarily furry”, then it was a daisy, and finally a tulip.

Here are some not-quite designs I worked on. The one on the left was close, the one on the right was too generic to recognize, and the one in the middle was actually based on a dream I had about a rabbit who was a magician and talked like Professor Layton and in a bid to prove his intellect managed to get everyone naked non-sexually (I swear).

It was a fucking dream okay
